the dark ages have brought with them a most sinister witch craft. Wolves are bonded to ordinary humans. A secret bond so hated that those that are part of it often reject it themselves! Humans and wolves alike reject their true nature and, as the centuries roll by a plague of dark creation begins to engulf the lands.
Right and left children are being born cursed by the light of the moon. Some children have survived the culling, others have been unfortunate enough to be slaughtered by the people around them. Lycanthropy sinks it's fangs into the royalty of the land, forcing people to accept the cursed children.
Acceptance is hesitant, after the Grand Queen announces that she is opening her arms to these cursed children and keeping her own cursed child the rest of the kingdoms follow suit. All but one. War threatens to break out, hovering on the edges of shadows. The bonded are in danger more so than ever now that Lycanthropy is so wide spread.
What will become of you in this world, this dark age ?
