Member Rules

respect members, guests, and staff alike. we don't like rudeness we know you don't, so lets dust our shoes at the thresh-hold and play nice.

impersonating others will not be tolerated. Hacking accounts and posting for other people is strictly forbidden. We don't want trouble brewing when so-and-so stops being friends with whats-her-name and characters get fought over.

we are an APC site. One character. One account. Two characters. Two accounts. Plain and simple. The organization of Black Dawn can't work without this simple concept.

activity. ah, the dreaded mentioning of activity. Well, if you chat in the cbox all day, ever day, and play in the games all day, every day then we expect you to post each character at least once every day. Why else would this be an RPG?

General Rules

200 word minimum per post in character. It's drab, it's painful, it's dreadful, but we like it. Without this everyone would spit out the age-old one-liner and no body likes that.

no doubled play-bys. No exceptions. If Miley Cyrus is taken then she's taken. We won't have duplicates running around. Twins are no exception to the rules.

Signatures may not exceed 500px wide. end of story. They may not exceed 300px tall. that's final. We aren't here to gaze at your loveley fifteen 400x400 image signatures. They take up the page, stretch the board, and they're just plain tacky.

Avatars are set at 100 x 150. This doesn't mean you can make a bigger image and it'll resize. We require them to be pre-sized, otherwise the image WILL be removed. Over-sized images make load-time longer.

Famous play-bys only please. I don't want to see your bestfriend posing for Suzy-Q, okay? If they aren't famous, they aren't accepted. Musicians, Models, and Actors are acceptable. Stock models on deviantart are not.

Character and RolePlay Rules

please wait to be accepted before role playing. You can plot, you can set up all your OOC pages, just don't roleplay yet.

there's no super secret phrase for joining, just be warned - we know when you haven't read the rules!

Please keep liquid time to a mimimum. I'd say 5 threads should be the max. We don't want you to stress yourself with threads.

REMEMBER! since we're APC don't forget who you're logged in as or you'll have to repost!

No power playing, simple, sweet, to the point. There are no 'God's here so no god-modeling either.
